Full & Partial Dentures
Complete dentures can totally transform your appearance for the better, they affect your ability to chew and digest your food, your speech, self-esteem and confidence. At P J Stibbards we only use the finest materials that allow denture bases to have increased strength and improved fit.
In order to make natural looking dentures that give facial support and function properly, the correct size teeth must be chosen and they must be placed in the correct position. All our dentures are designed and hand crafted by the Clinical Dental Technician providing your treatment, to your individual requirements.
If you have lost some natural teeth you should replace all the teeth that are missing to avoid your existing teeth from moving into unsightly or awkward positions, and from over erupting.
Partial dentures are normally made from plastic or a light alloy metal and plastic denture. Plastic dentures are generally less expensive to make. Metal alloy dentures are more expensive than plastic ones because of the specialist skill that is required to design and construct them. Alloy clips and precision attachments can be used to secure the denture to your remaining teeth. Metal alloy partial dentures are normally less bulky, much stronger, improve your oral hygiene and fit better than conventional plastic denture
Repairs
When dentures break it is normally for a reason, it can be wear and tear, excessive biting force or ill-fitting dentures normally due to gum recession or bone loss, or they can just be badly made. Repairing a denture that keeps breaking can become expensive! It may also be damaging your mouth especially when the fracture is due to a bad fit.
At P J Stibbards we manufacture dentures to the highest quality which fit better and are stronger than conventional denture base materials. We also use metal alloy dentures where appropriate.
